Austin Barkley, PT, DPT
Austin is originally from Northridge California and attended California State University, Northridge graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Western University College of Health Sciences in Pomona and has a passion for orthopedic and sports rehabilitation with an emphasis on head and neck injuries.
He has experience treating various diagnoses and impairments including post operative recovery, joint replacements, soft tissue injuries, and post concussion management. He is certified in Functional Dry Needling level two, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Concussion Management and is a certified Emergency Medical Responder for sporting events. He finds the challenge of helping people return to their desired activities and personal goals rewarding, and helps develop individualized treatment plans to get you back to doing what you love.
When he is not in the clinic you can find Austin snowboarding, exploring new recipes in the kitchen, golfing, or watching mixed martial arts. He also enjoys heading to the park for the occasional pick up ultimate frisbee game. His experience in martial arts and his own cervical injury management has given him an appreciation for the fundamentals of movement and enjoys assisting patients through their own unique challenges.
